Gulf Ferro Alloys Company (Sabayek)
Gulf Ferro Alloys Company (“Sabayek”) is a Saudi National Company operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was incorporated in December 1992. The factory is located in Jubail Industrial City 1.
SABAYEK is specialized in the manufacturing of Ferroalloys, where the company puts the name of the Kingdom among the top 15 countries globally in the production of silico manganese alloys. These alloys are crucial to the production of steel meeting the highest international standards of quality and reliability, which gives steel its required strength, flexibility, quality and durability.
SABAYEK manufactures Ferro Alloys to the highest standards tailored to its client’s specific requirements. Mainly, used by HADEED and most other steel factories in the Kingdom, SABAYEK also exports to the GCC countries, Canada, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain and the USA.
Sabayek’s four 27 MVA Furnaces have a maximum production capacity of about of approximately 140,000 tons per year.
Sabayek’s being a reliable and accountable manufacturer and a member of “NUSANED” program. Sabayek is strategically important to the Iron and Steel sector in the Kingdom, and it is also a member of the National Steel Committee. It is worth mentioning here that Sabayek is capable to cover the Ferro Alloys requirements of most, if not all, Iron and Steel factories in the Kingdom as well as the GCC.
Sabayek is an integral part of the diversification plan of the utilization of natural resources in the Kingdom, in line with the 2030 Industrial Vision, which urges the development, diversification, and integration of national industries and localizing the manufacturing of specialized strategic products.
