Ferro Manganese

Ferro manganese is used as deoxidiser, desulphuriser and degasser of steel, to eliminate nitrogen and other hazardous elements that are found at the first melting of iron. It also improves mechanical properties such as hardenability and abrasion resistance from special steels.

Three grades of ferromanganese are applied in a large and growing number of industrial and consumer products:

Ferromanganese HC (FeMn HC)

Ferromanganese MC (FeMn MC)

Ferromanganese LC (FeMn LC)

STANDARD SIZING

20 – 80 mm – maximum 10 % undersize 10 – 80 mm – maximum 10 % undersize

10 – 50 mm – maximum 10 % undersize 3 – 10 mm – maximum 5 % undersize

In bulk and 1-tonne Jumbo bags
